Mapdig

Privacy

Mapdig has no accounts. We do not ask for your name or email to search.

What we keep

Two small cookies. One counts your free searches for the day. The other, set only after you pay, says which Stripe purchase unlocked this browser. Both are signed so they cannot be edited, and neither holds personal details.

Your remaining rows and your restore code are stored in Stripe, attached to your payment or subscription. Stripe handles your card and your receipt email. We never see the card number.

What we do not keep

We do not store your searches or your result tables. A search is sent to our server so it can ask OpenStreetMap, and the answer is kept in memory for up to a day to spare the public servers. Server logs record the request time and a truncated address for abuse control.

Third parties

OpenStreetMap Nominatim and Overpass receive the place and business words you type. Stripe receives payment data. Vercel hosts the site. The email finder fetches business websites on your behalf, and those sites see our server, not you.
