Mapdig uses OpenStreetMap, so you never touch Google Maps. Search hotels in Vienna, then pick how the data leaves: a CSV, an XLSX file with a frozen header row and sensible column widths, or the Copy for Sheets button. The button puts tab separated text on your clipboard, so one paste into cell A1 of a Google Sheet fills the whole table.
XLSX and Sheets copy are on the paid plans. The free tier does CSV, which Excel opens directly. The file begins with a byte order mark so accented names such as Zurich or Cafe de la Paix show correctly instead of garbled.
The last row of every export credits OpenStreetMap contributors under the ODbL licence. Keep it if you publish or share the sheet. Everything else in the file is yours to filter, sort and merge with your own data.
In three steps
- Run the search.
- Choose CSV, XLSX or Copy for Sheets.
- Paste or open, then filter.
